February 09, 2017: Orthodox will release a new work this summer

After their releases on Southern Lord (Sunn O))), Pentagram, Boris, Earth), Utech and Alone, ORTHODOX will be releasing their first work on Dreamsheep - CS/DL out in early summer.

The new formation (now including Achilleas Pó on sax) is currently deconstructing the doom-metal genre while exploring new dimensions in sound. Try to imagine a metal band inspired by the likes of late Coltrane's "OM", Ornette Coleman's Prime Time or The Blue Humans and playing a hellish series of disembodied doom riffs. Orthodox takes no prisoners.
